Elizabeth Burritt conducted a workshop at Ralston School (Ralston) in January 2013. The workshop began by Elizabeth discussing the concepts behind her exhibition and her process of creating each piece, followed by a Q & A with the students. She then presented the workshop project, along with a hands on demonstration. The students were asked to write a one line story, then were randomly given a classmates’ story from which to create an illustration. They used graphite, gouache, and collage on illustration board to create their pieces.
All TREX visiting Artist workshops are funded by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
