Elizabeth Burritt at Cypress Hills Visitor Centre

Visitors to the Cypress Hills Visitor Centre on Saturday June 29th were able to see TREX visiting artist Elizabeth Burritt create an illustration featuring one of the parks residents, a painted turtle. Elizabeth also discuss with visitors the concept of her exhibition; how each piece she created was based on a one line story submitted to her blog by friends and strangers, as well as her skillful process of detailed drawing on clay and paper.

All TREX Visiting Artist workshops and events are funded by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
